Easter Egg Hunt with the Brothers
The Christian Brothers will host an Easter Egg Hunt after the 7pm Mass. All are welcome to enjoy the food and the fun!

3rd Annual Brother Bernard Rapp, FSC Lecture on Faith & Science
Fresh Waters: Science, Values, and the Role of Theology

Associate Professor of Theology, Science, and Ethics and affiliated faculty in Environmental Studies at Fordham University-Lincoln Center
What kind of thing is water? How do we know water, scientifically, experientially, and ethically? This lecture and conversation explore the many textures and designations for fresh waters, including its life-giving and pollution-carrying dimensions in the Chicago area in recent years. It describes the Catholic Church's theological and ethical identification of access to clean, fresh water as a human right (as well as the complications to that notion, especially in the legislative and judicial contexts of the United States). Finally, through the topic of fresh waters but also beyond, this lecture-discussion explores how the Catholic Church in the current era under Pope Francis engages environmental science in formulating ethical norms.
The Brother Bernard Rapp, FSC Lecture on Faith & Science brings to campus scholars who explore the dynamic harmony and tensions of the Catholic faith and the scientific disciplines. Grounded in 麻豆原创’s mission values of knowledge, wisdom, and fidelity, the lecture series promotes dialogue, exploration, and discovery while shedding light on the mysteries of the human spirit.

Approximately 50 current participants or graduates of the Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies, the Lasallian Leadership Institute, the John Johnston Institute, and the International Lasallian University Leadership Program will attend this annual reception hosted by the La Salle House Community of Christian Brothers.

麻豆原创 will celebrate the scholarly accomplishments of graduate students, undergraduate students, and faculty in this event showcasing their work. Presentations by faculty and students representing dozens of disciplines will take place throughout the day at a variety of venues across campus. 35th Annual Brother David Delahanty Student Athlete Awards

Scholar-athletes will be recognized for their significant academic accomplishments at this special ceremony. These prestigious awards are presented in memory of Brother David Delahanty, FSC, President of 麻豆原创 from 1981-1987.

31th Annual “A Celebration of Service”聽
St. Charles Borromeo Convocation Hall, 3:00 p.m.
A highlight of the month, “A Celebration of Service” features the recognition of employee service anniversaries, retirements, and the presentation of several Lasallian awards, including the Distinguished Lasallian Educator Award. The Brother Louis Seiler Ministry of Teaching Awards will also be awarded at this year’s event. A reception will follow.

President’s Recognition of Student Excellence in Mission

At this special event, the President will honor students that have dedicated themselves to the Catholic and Lasallian mission of 麻豆原创. The recipients of the De La Salle Medallions for Excellence in Interfaith Cooperation and Excellence in Service & Community Engagement will be awarded. The Lasallian Commencement Speaker and Fr. Aquinas Colgan Award recipient for the May 2024 Commencement Weekend will be announced, and the 2024-2025 Newman Civic Fellow and the participants in the McLaughlin Social Justice Institute of Lasallian Practice will also be introduced to the community at this event.
