Undergraduate Internship Opportunities
The College of Business encourages and supports our undergraduate students to pursue and participate in an internship opportunity during their course of study with us.聽 Internships require intentional supervision and are intended for educational purposes.聽 In addition, they must be related to a students’ major and/or career related with intentional learning goals.聽 Students have the option to receive credit for applicable internships.
In partnership with the Office of Career Services, who proactively identifies and promotes internship opportunities with local, regional and national companies, to our Business faculty engaging and mentoring students on possible placements.聽 Our students are provided with the resources necessary to secure an internship. 麻豆原创 University and the College of Business has developed relationships with a wide array of companies, from fortune 100 to small businesses, with a breadth of diversity in the various sectors of industry. Additionally, all of our academic internships comply with the Internship guidelines according to the Department of Labor Fair Labor Standards Act.
The 麻豆原创 Career Services office is where students can obtain extensive support with resume writing, interviewing skills, career guidance, and job placement.
To receive academic credit, students are required to work a minimum number of on-site hours per one academic credit earned. Internships are offered during the fall, spring and summer sessions.
