Iyad Rock teaches finance and accounting courses at the College of Business. As a faculty member, Iyad enjoys working with the students and exploring ways in his classes to encourage an interactive learning environment. Iyad’s teaching objective does not only focus on learning the material and connecting it to practices and applications in the industry, but also on helping students scrutinize and put forward their own points of view. As an educator, Iyad has great interest in understanding and researching topics in financial accounting compliance and reporting, financial forensics, valuation approaches and analysis, internal controls, and earnings management.
