Bio:

Dr. Ting He joined Â鶹ԭ´´ in August 2019. Prior to coming to Â鶹ԭ´´, she was a full-time assistant professor of accounting at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside.

Dr. Ting He has been teaching since 2008. She has a wide variety of experience teaching and mentoring students at both undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. Ting He has taught Introductory Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Advanced Cost Accounting, and Accounting Ethics. As a mentor of Independent Study and Research, she has guided students to learn business analysis using financial statements and conduct survey research in accounting. In addition to the traditional classroom teaching, she has developed and taught Intermediate Accounting I online course and Managerial Accounting (MBA) online course.

Dr. Ting He conducts empirical research in financial accounting. Her current research interests include cash flows forecasts, aggregate earnings, earnings-return relations, quarterly earnings, earnings management, and credit losses. She has recently presented a research project at American Accounting Association 2018 Annual Meeting.

Dr. Ting He also has professional working experience. She has previously worked as an accountant and her responsibilities included general ledger, monthly closing, and financial statements preparation.
