Bio:

Teaching and research interests: Management, International Business, Doing Business in Asia, (China, Japan, Korea) International Entrepreneurship, International Political Economy, International Management. 

Accomplishments at Â鶹ԭ´´: As Director of University International Initiatives (1999-2007), developed joint MBA program that provided 7 College of Business faculty opportunity to teach in China; Initiated first Â鶹ԭ´´ Travel Study program and organized several College of Business travel study programs to China and Europe; Developed and launched interdisciplinary Contemporary Global Studies and International Business majors and minors. Regular contributor to Arts Ideas programs, faculty colloquia, committees. 

Academic awards: Fulbright Scholar (China 2002-3) Br. Louis Seilor Teaching Award (2007-9). 

Teaching and research experience prior to joining Â鶹ԭ´´ 
Asia Research Center, Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), Asian Institute, University of Copenhagen (Denmark), College of Business, Sun Yat Sen University (China), International Politics and Economics Program, East-West Center (Hawaii), Chaminade University (Hawaii). As Fulbright scholar, also made presentations at Dalien University, Beijing Institute of Foreign Trade, Guangzhou University of Foreign Trade, Beijing University of Foreign Studies in China and at the Ruyuku School of Economics and the Osaka University of Economics. 

Business, government, non-profit, and military experience   
15 years in senior international management positions prior to joining Â鶹ԭ´´ including 8 years as CEO of international marketing companies in Singapore and Hong Kong; Director, International Marketing Bureau, Iowa Department of Economic Development; Director International Network on Trade (Iowa). Military experience: US Army Security Agency (Japan, Korea).
