Bio: 
Dr. Nidhal Bouazizi, Assistant Professor of Business Analytics, received his Doctorate of Business Administration from DePaul University in Business Research with a focus on operations and supply chain management. He has been teaching in higher education for nearly 10 years throughout Michigan and Illinois and he has had some unique teaching experiences in China, Haiti, and the UAE. Dr. Bouazizi's background is in Business Analytics, Operations Management, and Economics and his current research interests include healthcare/hospital inventory management's influence on healthcare worker infections during the COVID-19 pandemic and the relationship between chronotypes and business decisions. 

Throughout his time in academia, he has served as a consultant for developing higher education institutions and enjoys collaborating with international institutions to form partnerships for the enrichment of student learning and fostering of faculty development both here and abroad. Before joining as full-time faculty at Â鶹ԭ´´, Dr. Bouazizi has most notably been an adjunct professor with Â鶹ԭ´´, an instructor at DePaul University's Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, as well as serving as Interim Dean and Director of International Programs at Madonna University.

Nidhal was born and raised in Tunisia before moving to Germany where he attended classes at the University of Freiburg before eventually settling in the US and making his home in Michigan. He is fluent in 4 languages (Arabic, French, German, and English) and in his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son.
